Firefighting Concerns for Building with Lightweight ConstructionThis three-hour class will present operational challenges that must be understood and the hazards that will be faced when conducting fire operation in structures containing lightweight construction. Concerns with small dimensional lumber, trusses, engineered wood products as well as light gauge metal components will be discussed. Both private and multiple dwellings, as well as commercial buildings, will be reviewed, and pre-planning will be stressed. |
