Dr. William F. Jenaway is employed as Executive Vice President of VFIS, responsible for their Education, Training and Consulting Services. Dr. Jenaway has served in positions as President, Chairman of his Municipal Fire and Rescue Services Board and Fire Chief during his 42 years in the fire service. As Chief of the King of Prussia (PA) Volunteer Fire Company his organization was the first all volunteer fire service agency to receive “Accredited Agency Status” by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. Bill was named “Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year” in 2001 by Fire Chief Magazine at the annual conference of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. He is President of the Congressional Fire Services Institute, chaired both the IAFC and NFPA Risk Management Committees, and teaches Risk Analysis at the graduate level at St. Joseph’s University Graduate School of Public Safety in Philadelphia. In 2009 he was elected to the position of Township Supervisor and serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors of Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, a community of 30,000 residents and over 250,000 daily visitors.
