Join us for the 140th FASNY Convention and the 64th LAFASNY Convention in 2012 in Liverpool, NY. Full of exceptional training and educational forums and networking opportunities, the 2012 Convention is hosted by the Onondaga County Volunteer Firemen’s Convention Committee. This year, it’s all happening in the center of the state, in Onondaga County. Catch the annual presentation of the prestigious FASNY awards, Firefighter of the Year and EMS Provider of the Year, and honor those who have gone before us at FASNY’s annual Memorial Service. Attend the educational seminars as presented by nationally known fire service experts. In your off-time, kick back and relax in the company of your peers at hospitality night, hop on board a dinner cruise on Skaneateles Lake, play in a golf tournament, visit the area’s museums and parks, or take a trip to the Carousel Center Mall.

Sign up your youths for an exciting day of fire service activities such as roof ventilation, 2nd floor window bailout, firefighter maze, and standpipe operations. Each participant will be required to provide NFPA compliant turnout gear and safety glass/goggles. Advisors should provide basic SCBA training to their kids prior to arrival as well. Three credit hours (CME’s) will be awarded for completion of day.
